TITLE: SUMMER SCHOOL SECURITY GUARD

WORK SCHEDULE: Semester A May 26, 2023-June 12, 2026 & Semester B June 15, 2026-June 30, 2026

SALARY CLASSIFICATION: Support Staff Salary Schedule - Group C

• $15.78 per hour or current rate

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide a safe and secure environment for students and staff

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ensures that all buildings are secured after hours;
• Locks entrance and exit gates;
• Checks all buses, vans and cars;
• Patrols grounds and reports any safety concerns noted, on a daily basis:
• Reports any trespassers and vandalism;
• Checks well readings, if required;
• Reports water line breakages;
• Reports all mechanical equipment problems;
• Assists with opening and closing of buildings for functions;
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
A. REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• No experience required;
• Ability to communicate and work well with staff, students and the public;
• Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's licence.
