Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator (100% Remote) Location: Remote (Must reside in the U.S.) Type: Contract to Hire (3-month contract) Start Date: April 14, 2026 Interview Date: March 25, 2026 Pay Rate: $29/hr - RN (active license required); $24/hr - LPN (active license required) About the Role A large healthcare services organization seeks 6 Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinators to support a high‑volume national review process. This fully remote, detail‑intensive position requires strong clinical knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to evaluate nursing and clinical documentation with accuracy and consistency. You will review documentation, verify compliance with state insurance guidelines, and communicate findings to clients by phone and email. Responsibilities Review and validate all clinical information processed by Client Coordinators before it is sent to clients. Double‑check processed referrals and applications for accuracy. Confirm correct surgeons, specialties, and state insurance requirements were used. Validate whether services performed match exactly what the client requested. Ensure services meet required criteria, guidelines, and medical necessity standards. Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and clarity. Prepare final reports, ensuring they are professional, grammatically correct, and clinically sound. Provide updates and answers to clients via phone and email. Manage turnaround times; some cases require quick response and strong prioritization. Work independently while meeting performance metrics. Maintain focus and productivity in a remote environment. Uphold a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Required Qualifications Active Nursing License (RN or LPN) – required. Strong clinical judgment and ability to identify inconsistencies in medical documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience reviewing clinical documentation or conducting quality assurance. Ability to manage high volumes of work with accuracy. Reliable home office environment. Nice to Have Prior remote work experience. Experience with quality assurance, case review, or insurance policy evaluations. Familiarity with state insurance guidelines. Knowledge of clinical documentation software. Work From Home Requirements Must have a dedicated home office; cannot work while traveling. Personal computer required (laptop or desktop only; no Chromebooks or tablets). Must have or be willing to purchase a second monitor shortly after starting. Must be able to hardwire into the internet. Internet speed must exceed 20 Mbps download; speed test required at A work phone will be provided. Schedule Full‑time, Monday‑Friday. Assigned one of the following shifts: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM EST (2 seats) 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST (2 seats) 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM EST (2 seats) Training Schedule Monday‑Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST, for the first 4‑6 weeks.
