Job Opportunity: Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver

Locations: Tsaile, AZ or Rough Rock, AZ
Deal Transportation is currently seeking reliable, compassionate, and safety-focused drivers to join our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team. This role is essential in helping patients safely travel to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.
Job Responsibilities
Safely operate a non-emergency medical transportation vehicle
Transport clients to and from medical appointments, rehabilitation centers, and approved destinations
Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including securing wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids
Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate customer service at all times
Follow assigned schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch
Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and required documentation
Perform basic vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns
Comply with all Arizona traffic laws and company safety policies
Job Requirements
Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) — 39-month driving history required
Prior transportation or NEMT experience preferred but not required
Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Arizona roadways and traffic regulations
Flexible availability
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
