Job Description

Salary: $90,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, or 3 years with a related masters degree
• Extensive knowledge in Python and modern C++ programming
• Experience in system software engineering, especially with AI-first systems
• Familiarity with AI/ML development and managing data pipelines
• Proficient in developing and deploying software for mission systems within the Department of Defense (DoD) domain

• Engage in every stage of the software/system development lifecycle including requirements generation, system and software design, implementation, testing, and integration
• Develop simulation environments utilizing STAR.OS
• Contribute to all phases of low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) research, proof of concepts, and rapid prototyping
• Transition prototypes to production for widespread use across the enterprise and field applications
• Collaborate with innovative teams to enhance solutions from initial concepts to operational deployment
• Gain exposure to the latest advancements in AI, including generative AI and reinforcement learning (RL)
