Salary Range: $45.00- $53.00/Hour on W2 (All inclusive)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SDET / Automation Engineer to join our team in Owings Mills, MD. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in automated software testing, particularly in web UI and backend services, and will contribute to building robust test automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation test plans, test cases, and frameworks for UI, API, and backend services.
• Build and execute automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and accessibility testing.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and stabilize automated tests, ensuring reliability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to clarify requirements, identify quality risks, and ensure test coverage.
• Contribute to technical solutions and software lifecycle activities with a focus on automation.
• Create scripts for monitoring system performance and availability.
• Evaluate and expand existing test cases for regression and new feature automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on automation testing experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript .
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Git, JMeter .
• Solid understanding of OOP, TDD, BDD, and ATDD principles.
• Database querying and data validation skills.
• Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or similar) preferred.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, result-driven mindset.

Preferred:

• Experience in financial services industry.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
