Base pay range $90.00/hr - $105.00/hr Job Title : Project Manager - Expert.Mid - Asset performance management, reporting Contract Duration : 6 Months Pay range : $90 - 105/hr Location :Oakland, CA Work Type : Hybrid/OGO Job Summary: Our client is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead and support initiatives that enhance asset monitoring, data integration, and digital tools within Substation Operations. This role will oversee the execution of key projects, including the implementation of Camlin Client, enhancement of APM (Asset Performance Management), and emerging efforts around AI, Snowflake, and Augmented Reality (AR). Key Responsibilities : The Project Manager manages end-to-end project delivery for: Client condition monitoring rollout Enhancements and upgrades in APM Other improvement initiatives in asset and operations technology Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Cybersecurity, Field Operations, and Asset Management teams Drive the planning and execution of future initiatives including: AI integration for predictive maintenance AR-based field solutions Data platform buildout with Snowflake Coordinate with IT teams for infrastructure setup, remote connectivity, and issue resolution related to project equipment and software Track project milestones, risks, and budgets using tools like Jira, MS Planner, and SharePoint Maintain documentation and dashboards for program and executive reporting Top Things : Communication Project Management Problem Solving Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Project Management, or related field 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally in utility or asset-intensive industries Strong coordination experience with IT teams on infrastructure, remote access, and network setups Familiarity with APM platforms, monitoring systems, and asset health analytics is preferred Experience managing SharePoint sites, Jira, and similar planning tools Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills PMP certification or similar is a plus Note : Possible extension depending on performance. Hybrid - At least 1 day in OGO and possibly 2 days, should be flexible to work in the San Ramon office, too. client's laptop will be provided as the role needs to be local.
