The Marketing Assistant will help execute the day-to-day strategic marketing initiatives of the local Network Office and select financial advisors/teams within the Northwestern Mutual Twin Cities territory. This individual will support the Marketing team, help the Network Office drive candidate recruitment, financial advisor business development as well as grow our market presence through the implementation of marketing strategies, tactics, and Northwestern Mutual brand expansion efforts. This position will handle the creative design and execution of digital assets for the local office and select financial advisors. Examples include website updates, social media content development and posting, print and digital collateral design as well as the administration details of our small- and large-scale events. This individual should thrive in an environment that promotes direct engagement with colleagues, is excited about a new challenge, and excels in providing premium services that cannot be found outside of Northwestern Mutual. Position Responsibilities Assist with the execution of the Network Office Marketing Plan as well as the day-to-day strategic marketing initiatives of the Network Office (NO) and select financial advisors/teams Assist with planning small to large scale marketing events: internal culture-building and external (client/prospect-facing) Execute procedural tracking and measurement of the marketing program’s impact and overall ROI Assist with promoting and building the Northwestern Mutual brand locally to enhance awareness and receptivity within multicultural and diverse affinity markets Implement the creative design and execution of digital and print assets for the Network Office and select financial advisors Write content, design graphics and manage the social media accounts of select advisors/teams and Network Office Assist with marketing education and training for financial advisors Assist in the implementation of marketing tactics geared towards financial advisor recruitment Assist with local public relations, advertising and philanthropic efforts Handle administrative tasks such as database management, invoicing, RSVPs, etc. Position Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications 1-2+ years marketing experience Exceptional written communication and design skills Highly detailed and organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced environment Creative thinker, with strong project management and collaboration skills Creative design experience and high proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop), Canva, and social media technologies (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram) Ability to work effectively with people at all levels; maintain confidentiality Occasional night/weekend projects as determined by event schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr
