Banquet Server (On-Call)

Hawks Cay Resort, the premier destination in Duck Key, Florida, is seeking enthusiastic and service-driven On-Call Banquet Servers to join our dynamic team. As we unveil an enhanced resort experience in January 2025, we are committed to delivering world-class hospitality through exceptional service. Banquet Servers play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by ensuring the seamless execution of banquet events, from corporate meetings to weddings and special occasions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings.
• Serving food and beverages professionally and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the banquet areas.
• Anticipating guests' needs and responding promptly to requests to enhance their experience.
• Working closely with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and fellow servers to ensure smooth event operations.
• Following all safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as Hawks Cay Resort's service standards.
• Assisting in post-event breakdown and cleanup, ensuring the venue is restored to its original condition.
• Providing excellent customer service while upholding the resort's commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications and skills include:

• Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry trays, move tables and chairs, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures is a plus.
