Attorney - Commercial Litigation

Established (25+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney for Commercial Litigation in Phoenix, Arizona!

 

An established firm based in Tempe, Arizona with over 25+ years in practice is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of experience to join their team in a hybrid work arrangement. This role focuses on commercial litigation, business disputes, contract litigation, and complex civil matters, providing the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution while working closely with experienced partners in a collaborative environment.

Salary range: $120,000-$175,000+ contingent on experience

Qualifications
Active Arizona Bar membership in good standing
3-7 years of experience handling commercial litigation matters
Strong background in business disputes, contract litigation, and complex civil litigation
Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery and handling depositions
Ability to manage cases with increasing autonomy while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively

 

Responsibilities
Handle commercial litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through trial and resolution
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and substantive legal memoranda
Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials as needed
Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex litigation strategy
Maintain direct communication with clients and provide clear legal guidance throughout the litigation process
