Armed Security Officer
Pay: $18–$20/hour

Position Overview
AIS Private Security is currently hiring professional and dependable Armed Security Officers to join our growing team. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with strong situational awareness, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations while representing the company with the highest standards of conduct.
Responsibilities
Patrol assigned properties and monitor for suspicious activity
Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and criminal activity
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
Enforce property rules, regulations, and post orders
Monitor entrances, exits, and access control points
Provide excellent customer service and professional interaction with clients and the public
Conduct vehicle and foot patrols as assigned
Communicate effectively with management, dispatch, and law enforcement when necessary
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and state regulations
Requirements
Valid California Guard Card required
Valid Firearms Permit required
Baton Permit required
OC/Pepper Spray Permit required
CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
Clean driving record preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Previous armed security experience preferred
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
